Community Benefit

Community Benefit is a term used to describe the many programs and medical services supported by John Muir Health that provide tangible benefits to the community and improve the health of its community members. These benefits cover the entire spectrum of health care, including programs that address social determinants of health, such as food and housing, high-tech medical procedures, trauma services, primary care, and health education. Collectively, this is our contribution of services to improve the health of our entire community, explicitly supporting those who are uninsured, underinsured, low-income, unhoused, or otherwise underserved.
