Mobile Health Clinic
Since 2001, The Mobile Health Clinic has operated as a partnership program with JMH, Contra Costa County's Healthcare for the Homeless, and RotaCare Bay Area to provide free medical care to low-income, uninsured and under-insured patients. Services include preventative, primary care, and mental health services. To date, nearly 100% of patients needing additional care were referred to an appropriate specialist or healthcare provider (John Muir Health Specialty Care Program, JMH Family Medicine Residency, Every Woman Counts Breast Cancer Screening Program, Contra Costa County Health Services, or a local Federally Qualified Health Center). Services are provided by JMH physicians, volunteer doctors, nurses, and medical professionals from partnering organizations. The MHC is located throughout Northern California's Contra Costa County including Antioch, Bay Point, Brentwood, Concord, Martinez, Pittsburg, Richmond, and Walnut Creek.
